- Located in scenic Wyoming at 75 miles from Yellowstone National Park and about 25 miles east of Cody
Due to work schedule, the economy, and other concerns, we have decided to quit breeding shelties. Several young adults are available including three males. All are AKC registered or registerable as well as leash and crate trained. Photos below taken January 15, 2012 of the two males (playing with Airedale) who were born in November 2010. Please feel free to give me a call at 307 254-0159 for more info. Thank you.
Photos below taken on January 18, 2012 of Elf. Born in October of 2008, his parents are Desi and Peanut whose pics are shown lower on this page. Elf is relatively small and measures about 13.5-14 inches at the shoulders.
Photos below taken on February 5, 2012 of Apollo. He was born in April of 2010. He is quite mellow and loves playing with our Airedale Miley.
Prince Charming (Charms) shown below was rather fine-featured and stood 14 inches tall at the shoulders. He is the grandfather of the two males born in November of 2010.
About Us and Our Shelties
We are located about five miles northwest of Powell, Wyoming and roughly 25 miles east-northeast of Cody. AKC registered, our shelties are home raised with all sleeping inside of our house. The puppies are born in our home. I (Pat) have had shelties since 1989 and truly love the breed. Due to the current economy and my often hectic work schedule, I've decided to cease breeding although I am keeping a number of shelties as pets. I operate a very small archaeological consulting firm. Shelties accompany me into the field for work in a variety of locations ranging from gradual plains, rocky badlands, to high mountains. Quite agile, adult shelties deal well with fairly rugged terrain, cactus, etc. Please feel free to call us at 307 254-0159 with any questions or for more info. Email Me. We are quite experienced with shipping via airline.
The photos above are of Heart Mountain Princess (Peanut), the grandmother of the boys. A tricolor, she stands about 15 inches tall at the shoulders. She is a loving house pet and will stay with us. Pictures below are of Desi, the father of the boys, and my beloved field assistant. Standing 16 inches tall at the shoulders, he is a bi-blue with a very thick coat. He travels well and is adept at negotiating rough terrain, paths around small cactus, etc.
